On Tuesday, July 18th, AOA was live from Washington DC for the National Corn Growers Corn Congress! We started the show with Denny Vennekotter and Troy Schnieder started the show with a look back at the last year’s success on the Monthly Grind. In segment 2, Krista Swanson, Lead Economist with NCGA and John Linder, current President of MAIZALL discussed production and demand coming from South America. Janis Highly, of Indiana and John Delmotte from Michigan discussed the value of participation in the NCGA’s committees and we closed the show with Brooke Appleton, VP of Public Policy at NCGA with a look at policy efforts ahead of the fall.

For the April 2023 episode of The Monthly Grind with NCGA; Denny Vennekotter, Vice Chair of the Market Development Action Team at National Corn Growers Association, and Sarah McKay, Director of Market Development with NCGA joined the show as we looked at the Circular Bioeconomy and corn’s place in it.

On the first day of March 2023, we celebrated The Monthly Grind with our friends from National Corn Growers Assocation. Troy Schneider and Janis Highley joined us as we looked ahead to Commodity Classic (NCGA at booth 1603) and what will be under discussion in Orlando.

On this February 2023 episode of The Monthly Grind, Mike Pearson was on location at the Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show in New Orleans, LA with our friends from the National Corn Growers Association. Harold Wolle, NCGA Vice President kicked off the show with a reminder of why NCGA and NCBA have partnered so much on education. Next, Troy Schneider, Market Development Action Team chair and Colorado corn grower told about his experience in Europe for the Collaboration Platform on Ag. And we closed with Dean Meyer, Chair of the USMEF with a look ahead to beef exports in 2023.

On the January 2023 episode of The Monthly Grind, Mike Pearson is joined by Troy Schnieder of the National Corn Growers Association. Troy was part of the group that recently travelled to Brussels for the EU-US Collaboration Platform on Agriculture, and he shared the differences between the EU approach and the American approach.
