About The Show

Agriculture of America is a nationally syndicated agriculture talk show hosted by veteran farm broadcaster Jesse Allen. Tune in each weekday for a conversation about everything agriculture. We discuss policy, trade, markets, agriculture weather and much more.

Agriculture of America is a continuation of the popular Adams on Agriculture program hosted by longtime farm broadcaster Mike Adams, before his retirement in December 2021. Following his retirement, Mike Pearson took over the show and hosted it until July 2023 when Allen took over as host. AoA is produced by the American Ag Radio Network.

ABOUT JESSE ALLEN:

Born and raised in a small North Central Iowa farming community, Jesse Allen has grown up around agriculture in rural America. Having received numerous state and national awards for his coverage, Allen continues to bring a passion and love of telling agriculture’s story on a daily basis to the radio, podcasts and more.

Allen started his career at KGLO AM-1300 and 93.9 The Country Moose in Mason City, IA serving as Farm Director for both stations and later Content Director/Morning Host for The Country Moose. In September 2020 he launched the daily podcast Market Talk, which takes a look at that day’s commodity market trade with experts from around the country. Market Talk is also now a syndicated radio show, acting as the “sister” program to AOA, along with continuing as a daily podcast. Allen also currently serves as the Farm and Ranch Director for the American Ag Radio Network, which also produces AOA and Market Talk.

He currently lives with his wife Katie and their two dogs in Nashville, TN. Allen is also a successful country music recording artist, songwriter and producer on top of being a longtime farm broadcaster.
